IT has been an uncertain time for businesses during lockdown - not least for Noggi's Hairdressing salon, which was based on Bank Street in Bolton for more than a decade, was set to move into its new premises into a unit at the Total Fitness building on Waters Meeting Road in April.

NOGGI has been a hairdresser in Bolton for 25 years which is amazing as he tells everyone he is only 29!  We asked him how things had changed over the years he has been at the cutting edge of business.

THE sudden departure of a hairdressing boss has led to the birth of two new businesses in Bolton town centre.  The two salons, Headhunters in Great Moor Street and the Cutting Bar in Bridge Street closed suddenly.  But instead of retiring to lick their wounds the two managers of the salons both decided to set up in their own separate businesses.

A BOLTON hairdresser proved he was a cut above when he scooped this year's Start-Up Business of the Year Award.  Ambitious businessman Dharmendra Patel, known as Noggi, who runs his own salon in Bank Street, said he was 'gobsmacked'.  He added: "I wasn't expecting it at all."
